Issued individuallyy to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the 50 pence piece. On the outer rim the letters A to G appear on each point and are joined by arced crossing lines. A spirograph-type privy mark appears alongside the denomination. The design was also struck in copper-nickel, silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof. Issue limit: 144
